About this trip
<p>Nestled in the Western Ghats, Coorg (Kodagu) is Karnataka's Scotland — mist-draped hills, cascading waterfalls, and endless coffee and pepper estates. This 4-day retreat places you on a working family-run plantation where you can pick coffee cherries, spot hornbills from your cottage porch, and trek to the hidden Abbey Falls.</p>
What you'll do
Pick-up from Mysuru or Madikeri. Arrive at the estate by afternoon. Guided plantation walk, evening bonfire with filter coffee.
Morning trek to Abbey Falls. Afternoon jeep safari in Nagarhole National Park — elephant, gaur, and rare bird sightings.
Full day on the estate — coffee pulping demo, cooking class for traditional Pandi curry & Kadambuttu.
Early morning visit to Raja's Seat for a misty sunrise. Drive back to Mysuru/Bangalore for departure.

October–March is ideal. Avoid heavy monsoon (June–August) as roads can be challenging, though it's lush and beautiful.
Wildlife is wild — sightings cannot be guaranteed. However, Nagarhole has excellent density of elephants and gaur.
